BARRE // Kim Mayberry

DROP IN CLASS
Wednesdays 9-10am, Thursdays 12:05-12:55pm, and Saturdays9-10am

Dance-inspired exercises at the barre to strengthen and lengthen your muscles. The class mixes flowing movement, cardio bursts, light weights with high reps, balancing work, isometric exercises, core strength, mat work, and lots of stretching.

 

BUTI YOGA // Kim Mayberry

DROP IN CLASS
Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30pm

A badass mix of dynamic yoga asana, cardio fitness and tribal dance. Come sweat with intention to fabulous music and movement that will help you let go and release. 

 

BEGINNER BELLY DANCE // Catherine Dafoe and Kim Mayberry

Wednesdays at 5:30pm beginning in January 2019

The ideal place to start to learn the art of Oriental Dance. Foundations of technique, musical knowledge and the cultural roots of the dance are presented. Also suitable for dancers of all levels looking to polish their skills.

Further your technique, musical and cultural knowledge and learn a choreography with the option to perform. Suitable for dancers who have taken at least a full year of classes or several workshops. 

 

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS // Marc Geestman

Mondays Dec. 3 / 10 / 17 - Registered Class

A broad-based martial arts training. The classes are held in a supportive, fun, non-competitive atmosphere with the emphasis on safety. The reason for this is because the techniques we will be training in are real and have not been adapted for use as a sport. The training is focused on getting the skills to defend self and others, maintaining a compassionate attitude toward others, and to cultivate a natural lifestyle. The classes are open to participants ages 14 and up, regardless of gender, health, sexual orientation or cultural distinction.

 

BURLESQUE // Myka Breymann and Kim Mayberry

Pure seduction, this class will help you to master intoxicating dance moves you have only seen on stage (or in your dreams). Learn to use your body to tease, tantalize and titillate your way to surrendering to the music.  Bring your heels, feathers and besties, and be prepared to fall in love...with your reflections. No dance experience necessary.

 

CAPOEIRA // Nathalie Martel

Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines elements of dance, martial arts, acrobatics, and music. Sometimes referred to as a game, capoeira is a dialogue of movement between players. It builds strength, agility and rhythm.

 

FIIT // Fiona Groves

Fiona has created an extremely efficient 30 minute High Intensity Interval Training class.

 

HIP HOP FOR KIDS (Ages 5-8) // Kim Mayberry

Hip-Hop is all about the music, attitude, and having fun! Learn all the grooves and moves from locking, popping, and breaking.

 

IRISH DANCE (for Kids and Adults) (Kathleen O'Brien)

Class Description – Irish dance is a traditional form of dancing popularized in the 1990s by Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. It has both the elements of ballet and tap because of the dances performed in the two different types of shoes, the soft shoes and the hard shoes. It is a fun, athletic form of dance that anyone can participate in!

 

PILATES // Robyn Gerrie

Mondays at 12:05pm and Tuesdays at 9am

In this Classical Pilates mat work class we utilize a system of controlled core movements which work to balance and condition the body and the mind. The Pilates method blends strength and flexibility to improve posture, reduce stress and create long, lean muscles without the bulk. We will place focus upon Pilates' six main principles of Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, and Flow.

Sexy, sassy, and a little bit naughty! Learn about lines, transitions, and safety. Emphasis on both dance, fitness and flexibility.

Slow down and relax with a restorative vinyasa flow. Treat yourself to this restorative practice. Catherine uses essential oils and touch to help you feel fantastic.

DANCE, STORIES & YOGA FOR KIDS (Ages 3-6) // Kim Mayberry

Saturdays 10:10-10:55am Ages 3-6

An opportunity for children to be introduced to dance forms and music from around the world including African, Belly Dance, Bollywood, Capoeira, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Latin, Polynesian and Creative Movement. The focus is fun, fitness and creative expression.

 

ZUMBA // Maria Guilhon

YOGA FOR SNOW SPORTS // Christine Davidson 

DROP IN CLASS

Sundays at 7pm 

As a Level 4 Ski instructor and highly trained Yoga, Christine takes you through exercises that will strengthen your body for all the snow sports you participate in. Work on your balance, stability, strength and flexibility. Using wobble boards, straps, balls and rollers this class is designed to prepare your body for the hill. Coming back to the yoga mat and your breath prepares your mind for winter as well.
